Handy Wave Bluetooth is the cable replacement solution for RS-232, simply plug one unit into your RS-232 device
and the other into your PC for an instant wireless link with minimal setup.
With the units small form factor, high speed, full multi-point service than existing wireless data modem products. This product
can replace the serial communication cables of RS-232 standard, which is widely used in low speed communication
between controller and peripheral equipments. Especially in case of installing the cables underground, it will
reveal the utmost usefulness. Moreover using the multi-point communication functionality and the service range
extension by external directional antenna, you can extend the service application to RS-422 or RS-485 type.
Power for the unit attached to your PC is supplied by one of the spare USB ports on your PC, using the cable provided with the kit
. Power for the other unit can be supplied via an external power adapter(not provided with kit, available on request) or via the DB9M
connector.
