Overview
Jetport 5601 is a RS232/422/485 to Redundant Ethernet serial server.
The serial interface is configured in software and supports speed as
high as 460.8kbps. The Redundant Dual Ethernet ports can auto-recover
in less than 200ms if the master link breaks to guarantee non-stop connection.
JetPort 5601 can be configured by JetPort Commander, an easy-to-use utility for
Windows that covers all management, monitoring, and control functions for one or
many JetPort servers. In addition to Windows configuration, JetPort can be
configured by Web and Telnet, giving administrators the flexibility for device
management. JetPort 5601 supports HTTPS and SSH for secured management data.
JetPort 5601 can be wall mounted or din-rail mounted by the din-rail kit.
Redundant Dual Ethernet Design
With RTTD, Redundant to the Device technology, JetPort 5601 has dual Ethernet
ports for redundant design. If both of the Ethernet ports are linked to
different switches, only one ink will be activated. When the master link breaks,
the redundant back-up link will be activated in less than 200ms to guarantee the
non-stop data communication.
RS232/422/485 3-in-1 Serial Configuration
JetPort serial port supports RS232, RS422, 2/4 wire RS485 and is configured by software.
The serial speed can be set as high as 460.8kbps for RS232, RS422, and RS485. The serial port
can work in various communication modes, including virtual com, TCP server, TCP client, UDP,
and serial tunnel.Advanced settings for controlling the data communications such as TCP alive check,
delimiter, and timeout are also supported. For industrial redundant solutions,
JetPort supports to maximum 5 simultaneous connections for virtual com, TCP server,
TCP client modes, sending data to 5 hosts simultaneously.
